[Introduction]

Roxette是少數專輯量夠多、我從第一張專輯就開始跟、跟到他們大紅大紫、跟到絢爛歸於平淡、也有跟到台北演唱會的樂團(歌手)，記憶中，應該只有The Cranberries差可比擬吧！但Roxette並非最愛，我的最愛可能是Billy Joel、Chicago、Bon Jovi、Cathy Dennis、Debbie Gibson、Wham! …，但這幾位，都不是從第一張專輯就開始跟的。

Roxette是兩位瑞典歌手Per Gessle和Marie Fredriksson的組合，一男一女都是瑞典紅星，男的創作力高，女的歌聲爆發力強，他們在瑞典發行的第二張專輯”Look Sharp”，經過一位交換學生回美國渡假時，推薦給廣播DJ朋友播放，居然一炮而紅，唱片公司也順勢趕緊在美國發行正式專輯。

”Look Sharp”、”Joyride”這兩張專輯都賣得很好，產生了許多金曲，中間還挾著一首兩周冠軍單曲”It Must Have Been Love”，是賣座電影”Pretty Woman”的主題曲，也是1990年Billboard年終排行的亞軍。後來的專輯也不差，但遇到創作瓶頸，聲勢就逐漸走下坡了。”Church of Your Heart”是”Joyride”的第5支單曲，也是我最喜歡的兩首Roxette歌曲之一(另一首是”Listen to Your Heart”)，因為曲調好聽，歌詞簡單傳達了心意；其實愛很簡單，多聆聽內心的聲音、多想想美好的過去、想想第一眼愛上對方的瞬間；愛情永遠是美好的、世界永遠是美好的。
